The word was on the tip of my tongue, but it was stuck there –for almost a week!
My quest started last Saturday night when during a community bible study group, I joined in a conversation regarding the concept of “messiah” in books.
Our neighbor said that the Wheel of Time concept of “messiah” was different from [...]

This is a SPOILER FILLED review. Don’t read if you are offended by spoilers like me.
I just finished Robert Jordan’s and Brandon Sanderson’s The Gathering Storm, and I have one word for it: AWESOME!
Although it can be rightly said that Bran is not RJ, he still delivered a novel fit to be numbered in [...]

I’m back!
The facebook powers that be have acted in mercy and reinstated my account. I got my Vamp back, but I’ll be abandoning him somewhat when he reaches Level 70. He isn’t content with other vamp blood. He wants to eat my time.

Few books can drive me to the wee hours of morning begging me to read until the last page.
The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect is one such book. I Stumbled on the electronic version of the novel last night, and finished it a few hours later. Several hours afterward, I was still turning on [...]

Meet Dirk, a Level 63 Modern Vampire.
He has 470 Clan members, earns 70 million blood from thousands of minions in an hour, has Attack and Defense Skills at more than 100, and he even has an arsenal of rare and coveted items. Unfortunately, Dirk is no more. A force greater than the Vampire [...]

I finished Naked Empire even though it was [...]

If you strain hard enough, you’d swear they’re twins. NOT!!
In an ambitious bid to increase its ratings, television network ABS-CBN has recently launched another high budget teleserye: Kambal sa Uma. Featuring rat-human mutants, Kambal sa Uma is an adaptation of a 1979 movie of the [...]

I just had my first serving of dragon fruit.
It used to be called pitaya, but its marketers thought that sounded crude so they settled on calling it dragon fruit. They hoped it would turn an otherwise simple desert fruit into something exotic. IMO, it does have some resemblance to dragon scale, but all [...]

I must admit that I can easily get hooked on to games. This is partly the reason why I no longer install games in my PC. They usually just eat my time away.
So it was an ambivalent time when I came across Tribal Wars. I didn’t install it. It’s online based. [...]

Since late January, I have been retailing load (cell phone credits). I started with GLOBE, but due to persistent customer demand I expanded to include SMART. I have no plans of including SUN Cellular. My time is already pretty much used up with those 2 networks.
GLOBE loading is straightforward. I just [...]
